Category Archives: Nikkor 24-70/2.8 AFS Definitely a challenging assignment. As part of an ongoing project on the Dangerous Dogs Act we visited a re-homing site. Many, many dogs, but most behind glass. Glass = reflections (I didn’t have the polarizer with me duh), mud and slobber from the licking. I haven’t gone through the shots yet but this appealed to me...  I went along for a second day to the Tamil independence demonstration as it is getting more coverage now that it has brought Whitehall and Westminster to a standstill. There were thousands of people there.  Question: What has up to 500 people kettled onto the pavement in Parliament Square, people throwing themselves from Westminster Bridge, a dying hunger striker, thousands protesting every day for the last week at least and has remained completely off the radar of the mainstream media? Gizmo’s paws were not large when he arrived but they are now. This is an indication that he may grow somewhat larger than anticipated. Anyway, a quick update.  Some more Gizmo. he is a pleasure to photograph, but getting naughtier…  It is Gizmo day 5… Gizmo is our Staffie cross, he arrived today at ours (not into the world, that was 7 weeks ago)  Statement of the bleeding obvious or what… |
