Skem Bare Market

Long time Skelmersdale council housing tenant Hazel Scully is pleased that West Lancashire borough council is planning a facelift for run-down Skelmersdale town centre – there’ll be a new high street, shops, cinema, library, sports centre, swimming pool, housing, and a lovely landscaped park to replace the spooky weedfest along...

Kites

We came across a kite fair on Blackheath Common. The clouds provided a dramatic backdrop. I only had a green/yellow 060 filter with me, I could have done with the red 090 for the clouds.
I found these big ‘kites’ absolutely hypnotic, moving slowly and lugubriously in the wind, stangely synchronised in their movement.

What took me so long…

…to use HC-110 with Tri-X?

I assume the window glass is really high quality because it is not easy to tell which side is real and which is the strange mirror world. Sometimes there are obvious clues...

Filled arches, faux arches, and a chair

Following on from the themes on filled and faux doors and arches and chairs…
Silk Mills Path, Lewisham
This next one isn’t filled but it is an arch (well ‘ish’, upside down anyway).
Wurlitzer juke box between Creekside and Deptford Church St, Deptford
This chair is not abandoned yet in the official sense but its existence is precarious
Royal Hill,...
