Sculpted Cemetery

I’m back haunting Nunhead Cemetery…

I’m searching for a post-Victorian Xmas-card sentimental melancholic macabre. Fitting for the location and time of year.

So I have post-processed them with that aim. You, dear reader, can tell me if you think I’ve been successful.

This is my favourite angel and is the only one I’ve photographed before. I look upon it as a kind of benchmark. Since it was a winter’s afternoon I could actually photograph it without squinting into the sun. Usually I’m walking The Dog in the morning.

Seconds earlier an *enormous* rat disappeared behind this gravestone. I wasn’t quick enough.
