St Alfege Church :: Corrosive

St Alfeges Greenwich

This is an ongoing project to record the faces around St Alfege, Greenwich.

They are worn and pockmarked with age. I don’t think they were ever meant to look like this.

This should be seen full size when complete, hopefully 1.5m x 3m or something outrageous. I’ll probably redo it with film.

I’ve seen so many of these. It’s such a shame that they are wearing away and once gone that’s it. Nothing like this will probably ever be made again.
