Greenwich Park Snow

Greenwich Park is magical in the snow.

The prevailing wind must have been from the North judging by the trees. I was relatively early in the park so there weren’t too many footprints disturbing the snow.

It was strangely peaceful in this corner of the park.

However, I wasn’t the only one with the same idea

The lens has done a good job here. I would have expected it to flare badly.

The lenses on the GR[VD] cameras are superb. The GRD III has a 28mm f/1.9 fixed lens. It is the antithesis of the lenses on my film cameras though. It is coated for a start… I used to use the legendary GR1v film camera. I wish I hadn’t sold it, the little film camera is justifiably now a cult classic due to its superb lens.
