Scared to the memory

I posted previously on misreading gravestones in my childhood and the years of uncertainty about the (literally) frightening cause of death of so many of the inhabitants of graveyards.

If all gravestones were as clear as this one there wouldn’t have been a problem

However, most are like this. The word sacred is harder to read.

And some are frankly terrifying…
